The Little Scarlet is a small fruit variety of strawberry with a unique and intensely sweet flavour. Little Scarlet strawberries originate from the USA and have been grown at Tiptree since 1887. The tiny berries are usually no larger than 20mm. The plants are difficult to cultivate and are erratic croppers. Due to their size, the fruit takes longer to harvest, pick and sort.
